Dua Lipa is a Brit artist/singer born in London United Kingdom on August 22nd 1995. Her self-titled debut was released in 2017 following her been signed by Warner Bros Records. The album peaked at third place on the U.K. Albums Chart and released eight singles which included Be the One I.D.G.A.F as well as the U.K. number-one track New Rules which peaked at number six on the charts in the United States. The album, which has since been certified Platinum in various countries around the world, won her the two Brit Awards (in 2018) in the categories of British female single artist and British Breakthrough act. Anesa Laxha and Dukagjin Lipa. By way of her maternal grandmother Dua Lipa, the actress is Bosnian. She can trace her ancestry back to Peja, a city in Kosovo. Lipa's two grandfathers both were historians. Gjin as well as Rina are her twins. Lipa's father, the guitarist and lead singer of Kosovan group Oda has influenced her in a musical way.
